What is the LIC file and what do I do with it?

When you purchase one of our ActiveX/COM components, you receive a licensed version. Licensed components require a LIC file which is installed in the Windows system directory. Together, they permit you to create applications which do not display the intermittent nag dialog box that appears in the trial version. If the LIC file is corrupt or not present, the licensed version will behave like a trial version.

The LIC file for a control is installed for you when you run the installation program. You should not have to do anything with it.
