When you purchase a subscription, you will be entitled to receive all updates to the software, including major and minor version updates for a period of 1 year from the date of purchase. If you do not purchase a subscription, then you would need to pay to upgrade to any new major version that becomes available more than 30 days after the initial purchase. Minor version updates are free of charge.
